But Reiki can not only help you with energetic blockages, trauma, and pain...

It can also help you with physical pain as well.

This week, I want to share with you several ways to manage and treat your pain across specific parts of your body.

If your pain is left untreated, this can manifest into even more harm and damage over time.

The stress, both emotional and spiritual, can cause your entire body system to fall apart.

You don't want this to happen.

I'll introduce a technique that everyone from advanced Reiki healers to complete beginners can use to manage their leg pain.

Even if you don't feel any now...you might feel it later as the result of an injury or accident.

It helps to know and recognize the signs of leg pain and treat it right when it comes so that it doesn't become worse.

This is the ethos of Reiki...so without further ado, let's learn!

Walking

Earthing
Walking barefoot, also known as "earthing," has gone from being some counter-culture trend in the 1970s...

...to a scientifically-researched practice with a number of remarkable health advantages, such as:

increasing antioxidants
reducing inflammation
and improving sleep.
Earthing basically means that you traverse across any natural surface (not manmade) barefoot.

So we’ll have to get off the sidewalk..

...and onto the Earth itself.

The planet has its own natural charge, and we seem to do better when we’re in direct contact with it.

So why should you walk barefoot?

Before we get into that...

....I think you should take a look at my 5 High-Powered Healing Techniques.

If you're interested in removing physical pain...this just might be what you're looking for. I'd hate for you to miss out.

HPHT

Although you may be suffering from temporal leg pain (cramps, muscle tightness, etc)...

...if you work on strengthening your body, you'll see exactly what I mean.

Walking barefoot means that you get to actually use the energy of the foot.

Shoes are like a shield for your foot - they help protect them from dangerous things like thorns, tears, and bacteria.

However, they also cripple us because they separate the energy from the ground and the energy of our feet.

This leads to problems because your foot no longer knows how to act like a foot.

Think of it like your Chakras.

If you protected your Chakras everyday, you would never get hurt.

However, this would prevent energy from coming in and out of the Chakras...

...and this would lead to complications down the road.

The same example applies to your feet. However, this can be difficult for some people, as they'll find that their feet have become so weak that they can't even go barefoot for more than 5 minutes!

The good news is that your feet can become much stronger over time.

So take it slow and gradual - however long you can walk barefoot, do that.

And then repeat it again the next day and the day after.

It might be troublesome and feel very difficult at first, but after a few days, you'll begin to see the benefit of walking barefoot.

Next, we'll cover how to use Reiki specifically to treat your physical pain...

Reduce Pain

Put your ego aside.
I always affirm to myself before starting the session of healing. I say to myself that I am open and clear to the channel of reiki and that my ego has moved aside.

It is a reminder that Reiki is the one doing the healing...and not you.

I found out that the more I involve my ego by thinking stuff like “I need to take away the physical pain”, the less effective the process of treatment is.

With such egocentric thoughts, I had to deal with more unwanted energies.

So put your ego aside when you're healing...and allow let go of the need for control.

Breathe and relax.
It is sometimes hard to think of breathing and relaxing when you are in some kind of physical pain or you are watching someone you care about undergoing some form of pain.

However, I advise that you need to pay close attention to your breathing.

Shallow breathing will not assist when it comes to breathing - on the contrary, it keeps you in a mode of panic.

A surprising thing that I noticed when I started paying attention...

...is how much stronger the Reiki flow begins to feel.

If you are in pain from maybe as a result of hurting yourself, take some time to center and exhale and inhale with deep slow breaths.

In case you’re performing reiki on another person in pain, talk them into focusing their energy on breathing and relaxing.

It makes it worse to resist the pain.

Alone

Visualizations.
This is an important stage in treating physical pain with reiki.

It involves envisioning the physical pain leaving so that you are taken back to their wholeness state.

For me, I usually imagine that the pain’s energy is like a little red dot...

...and that little red dot gets smaller and smaller as time goes on.

Trust and believe that the body is capable and knows how to treat itself.
All the Reiki does to the healing process is offer its support.

The flow of Reiki through you is much easier...

...if you let yourself to relax into the knowledge that the body has a clever way of self-repairing from the physical pain.

See your hand as a Reiki magnet that is pulling the physical pain from the body.
When performing Reiki on yourself or another person in pain, visualize that the pain is being pulled by your hand out of the body.

It assists in the speeding up of the process and as the focus goes from one of physical pain to relief.

When using reiki to treat physical pain remember to breathe, keeping yourself relaxed and calm.

Try not to think of the worst and constantly remind yourself or the person you are performing reiki on that all will be fine.

Lastly, you may be required to seek professional or medical assistance depending on the physical pain situation.

Freedom

By walking, we exercise our muscles and cardiovascular system, improve our mental health, reduce stress and support our overall wellness.

Simply taking our shoes off seems to multiply those benefits by allowing us to synchronize with the earth’s natural electric charge.

On an evolutionary level, this all makes complete sense.

We evolved close to the earth, and it’s only relatively recently that we have been so keen to remove ourselves from nature.

Perhaps it’s time to take a step back, barefooted.

If you're interested in removing physical pain...this just might be what you're looking for. I'd hate for you to miss out.
