The EEO-1 pay data collection would have required large corporations to report pay data by race and gender and job category. It would have shone a light on race and gender wage gaps, helping the EEOC root out pay discrimination and encouraging companies to identify and correct unfair pay.
Despite the administration’s illegal action to stop the pay data collection, the EEOC still has the power to move forward with a plan to collect pay data from employers, but we need to make sure they use it. Send your message to the EEOC today!
We will continue to fight for equal pay on every front — and with your help, I know we will ultimately win.
Sincerely,
