Carrie is one of two senior acquisitions editors for the political science list at CQ Press. Carrie focuses on international relations, comparative politics, public affairs, and political science research methods. Carrie joined Sage/CQ Press in 2016 and brings with her a couple of decades of higher education experience. She started as an editorial assistant, moved into sales, dabbled in marketing and then stayed happily in editorial for the majority of her career.

Michael joined SAGE in 2015 as senior acquisitions editor for the CQ Press imprint, focused on political science and public affairs. He has more than 15 years of editorial experience in U.S. History, political science, economics, and business, and has worked at Houghton Mifflin Company, CQ Press, Routledge, and, most recently, Oxford University Press. Michael is very excited to now be back on the CQ Press list at SAGE collaborating with some of the best figures in the field. She began her career in publishing working with psychology titles at SAGE in 2007. From there, Lara spent 7 years in sales and specialized marketing with McGraw-Hill Higher Education and Pearson Education before returning to SAGE in early 2015. Lara is excited to partner with authors, instructors, and students to develop outstanding textbooks and innovative tools for social, developmental, and clinical psychology at SAGE.

RESEARCH METHODS, STATISTICS & EVALUATION
Helen is acquisitions editor for research methods, statistics, and evaluation and works across all areas of the list, but has sole responsibility for publishing in evaluation. Helen has more than 20 years of publishing experience, and has worked in both the U.K. and the U.S.  She previously held senior positions in marketing at SAGE. Helen brings her international experience and marketing know-how to help authors shape their books to best meet the needs of the market.

She joined SAGE in 2007 as a member of the editorial acquisitions team in journals, lately responsible for managing and acquiring journals in research methods, political science, urban studies, and social work.
