Jobs: Tutor - Learning Period - Los Angeles, CA | Workpop.com

Tutor - Learning Period - Los Angeles, CA | Workpop.com:

We are a private, in-home tutoring service looking to add a few more tutors to our dynamic team. While located in the heart of Los Angeles, we work with students all over the city: the Westside and Southbay, San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, and everywhere in between. We specifically seek highly qualified candidates with valid teaching credentials and verifiable tutoring experience for our openings.

Our students run the range of grades from Kindergarten to 12th grade, with the occasional college student thrown in. Client requests span all academic subjects, so whatever your credential is in, we're interested in hearing from you. Experience teaching the SAT or ACT is a plus.

Compensation: $20-25 per hour. The average tutor works around 10 hours per week. Hours span late afternoon through the evening, from about 3:30 to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are sometimes requested by our clients.

To be considered for an interview, please provide:
A detailed description of your tutoring experience. Please do not apply if you do not have prior experience.
- If you are bilingual, please state in what language.
-A list of the subjects in which you are able to tutor. REYNA DAVE, Recruiting
